Welcome to the Rosenstiel School!

Whether you're joining the Rosenstiel School in the fall or spring, this page will help you take the next step toward starting your first semester.

A typical full-time schedule includes 4-5 courses with 1 to 2 labs, totaling 14-17 credits. Follow these steps to plan your courses:

Familiarize yourself with the registration system using the resources below:

Review your transfer credit evaluation in CaneLink.
Credits may transfer as direct course equivalents, electives, or as 100T placeholders.
If a course transferred as a 100T placeholder, you’ll need to complete a course evaluation through the Miami Academic Transfer Evaluation System (MATES).
Be prepared to upload a syllabus for each course, and include a course description if available.
Once you have everything, you can submit your materials directly through the MATES system.
Students who completed the Summer Scholars MSC107 and MSC115 track, or the MSC101 and MSC115 track, are waived out of MSC112 and should not enroll in that course.
Please identify yourself during the enrollment process so this can be recorded in your student file.
